After 3 months, I got a bunch of bad sectors on the disk and had to return it.
it was real easy to change out the old one for new one. keep in mind that after formatting hdd you'll end up with about 290gb.
that was a bit tricky for you have to format external hdd to a FAT32 in order for PS3 to recognize it. the enclosure i used was the Vantec NexStar SX NST-285S2-BK 2.5-Inch SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure sold here on amazon.
i used this to upgrade my hdd on PS3 AND It worked great so far. i put the old hdd in an enclosure to make it an external hdd.
it took about 10 days to ship which was pretty long. i've had it for about a month so far.

Great value. This product has been great so far, I used it to upgrade my PS3 HDD from 80GB, the HDD is great and is so far very fast and quiet, I can't hear a beep out of it nor it spinning up for that matter. its been almost a month now, and I don't have any complaints at all.
The faster speed really isn't needed. If your looking for a 320GB Hard Disk Drive for your playstation 3, this is it. Don't forget to backup your material. Buy this one and you'll save money. Works perfectly. It doesn't matter if the RPM is 5400 or 7200.
